Market

This morning (or rather midi) we went to the market to buy dinner. There's usually a man there that sells home made Asian food, so we had planned to eat that... But he wasn't there today! So we ended up buying horse meat instead. Our usual favourite at the matket. We also stopped by the boulangerie and bought some goodies.. Pepito for F and Chausson aux pommes for me.
Then we went home and had fika and watched Tout le monde veut prendre sa place. Now I'm playing Pandemic 2, a browser game where you have to strategicly spread a disease and kill all mankind! Fun!

Games

Ok I'm making this post just a s a reminder for my future self to see when games I have today compared to then (in the future). Also which ones I have played or are playing...

Alan Wake
Started playing it, and like it a lot. But lags on my old computer so it's hard to aim sometimes...

Fill the shoes of one Alan Wake, a man who makes his living from the terror of others as a best-selling suspense novelist. Trapped in the deceptively peaceful Washington town of Bright Falls, where he came to escape the trauma of losing his fiancée, Alan must piece together a mystery to prevent himself from being trapped inside a nightmarish world forever. An intense psychological thriller from Remedy, the creators of Max Payne, Alan Wake looks to raise the bar for future games, creating a true cinematic experience. Explore an expansive world filled with missions, unique puzzles, intense combat, and horrifying enemies. Dig into a twisting and multi-layered story filled with suspense, engaging characters, and shocking revelations.

Assassin's Creed 2
Started playing it and is maybe 20% in to the game. But can't say it's my favourite. It is nice and well made but I would like it more on PS3 than on my PC.

Delve deeper into the secret society of assassins with the sequel to the blockbuster action-adventure game. Assassin's Creed 2 is an epic story of family, vengeance and conspiracy set in the pristine, yet brutal, backdrop of a Renaissance Italy. Ezio befriends Leonardo da Vinci, takes on Florence's most powerful families and ventures throughout the canals of Venice where he learns to become a master assassin. This game retains the core gameplay experience that made the first opus a resounding success and features new experiences that will surprise and challenge players.

Audiosurf
I played it a little. It is nice to play when you have nothing better to do and just want to listen to some nice music.

Audiosurf is a puzzle/rhythm hybrid game created by Invisible Handlebar, a personal company created by Dylan Fitterer. Its track-like stages visually mimic the music the player chooses, while the player races across several lanes collecting colored blocks that appear in sync with the music.

Aztaka

Played a little but never finished. Got it for my mac when I was bored and missed gaming being away from home. It is fun but lacks depth.

Inspired by Aztec legend, this action/rpg side-scroller will casts you into the middle of a war between the Gods and Mankind. As Huitzilo, heir of the Sun God, skilled in both the arts of combat and magic, only you can save your people from the wrath of the Aztec Gods by reuniting the seven phonograms.

Bastion
Not finished playing. Lovely game with fun art. Looks like a kids game but is so much more. Great story and fun play.

In this original action role-playing game set in a lush, imaginative world, players must create and fight for civilization's last refuge as a mysterious narrator marks their every move. The goal of Bastion is to construct a safe haven in the wake of the Calamity, a cataclysmic event that shattered the world into a series of floating islands. As players journey into the wild unknown in search of survivors and supplies, they will confront strange beasts, forge an array of customizable weapons, and gain new powers from specially-brewed spirits. The entire play experience of Bastion is dynamically narrated, gradually revealing a rich backstory as the narrator reacts to the player's actions in real time.

Beat Hazard
Awesome game! Played it a lot. Use any mp3 song on your computer and all the enemies spawn with it as well as your powers.

Beat Hazard Gameplay Powered by YOUR Music! Experience your music collection like never before with this intense music driven arcade shooter. Each of your songs will have its own unique ebb and flow based on the music. Power up your spaceship and watch as the music boosts you.

BIT.TRIP RUNNER

Old school platform game that is fun, but hard and a bit annoying after a while. If you die you have to completely restart again... which if you fail many times gets very annoying.

BIT.TRIP RUNNER is the fastest, most exhilarating music/rhythm-platformer to hit Steam! Race across the Moon, kicking down crystal walls and sliding under chomping moon-slugs! Bound through the Robotic Mines and face off against the MinerMech! Dash through the Big City on a quest to find friends and defeat the final boss together!

Borderlands
Finished playing, and i LOVE it! A lot of pew pew, crazy humour and amazing artwork.

Lock, Load, & Face the Madness Get ready for the mind blowing insanity! Play as one of four trigger-happy mercenaries and take out everything that stands in your way!

Borderlands 2

Almost done playing it, love it as much as the first one, even tho I miss playing a sniper.

Borderlands 2 furthers the distinct blending of First Person Shooter and Role Playing genres to create the true evolution of the Role Playing Shooter. Team up with up to three other players for four-player online goodness or go old-school with two-player split-screen couch sharing mayhem as you spend hours leveling up your character and equipping them with one of the millions of badass weapons. Borderlands 2 features a new visually stunning array of procedurally generated guns, shields, grenades, artifacts, enemies and more. Choose one of the four new character classes to be taken through a carefully crafted and connected story to all new and surprising environments across the living planet of Pandora. Make new friends, arm them to the teeth and fight alongside them on your relentless quest for revenge and redemption.

Company of Heroes
Fun strategy game that is hard to quit. I think I ended up playing 8 hours straight the first time I tried it.

Delivering a visceral WWII gaming experience, Company of Heroes redefines real time strategy gaming by bringing the sacrifice of heroic soldiers, war-ravaged environments, and dynamic battlefields to life.

Counter Strike and Counter Strike: Condition Zero
Which nerd haven't played CS? A Lot of fun if you play with your friends.

With its extensive Tour of Duty campaign, a near-limitless number of skirmish modes, updates and new content for Counter-Strike's award-winning multiplayer game play, plus over 12 bonus single player missions, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero is a tremendous offering of single and multiplayer content.

Counter Strike: Global Offense
Updated version of the classic. Still alot of fun and a lot of p12 yelling.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) will expand upon the team-based action gameplay that it pioneered when it was launched 12 years ago. CS: GO features new maps, characters, and weapons and delivers updated versions of the classic CS content (de_dust, etc.).

Crysis 2: Maximum Edition
Didn't play yet.

Aliens are decimating New York City, only you have the technology to survive. Adapt in real time using the unique Nanosuit 2 Stealth, Armor and Power abilities, then tackle the alien menace in ways a regular soldier could only dream of. Crysis 2 redefines the visual benchmark for console and PC platforms in the urban jungle of NYC.

Darksiders
Did not try the first version of Darksiders yet, but it seems similair to the 2nd. Silly artwork, but fun play probably.

Deceived by the forces of evil into prematurely bringing about the end of the world, War – the first Horseman of the Apocalypse – stands accused of breaking the sacred law by inciting a war between Heaven and Hell. In the slaughter that ensued, the demonic forces defeated the heavenly hosts and laid claim to the Earth.

Darksiders 2
Fun play but made for console rather than PC. A bit childish artwork.

Awakened by the End of Days, Death, the most feared of the legendary Four Horsemen, embarks upon a quest to restore mankind, and redeem his brother’s name. Along the way, the Horseman discovers that there are far worse things than an earthly Apocalypse, and that an ancient grudge may threaten all of Creation...

Dead Space + Dead Space 2
Never played. Got in a bundle.

Only the Dead Survive. A massive deep-space mining ship goes dark after unearthing a strange artifact on a distant planet. Engineer Isaac Clarke embarks on the repair mission, only to uncover a nightmarish blood bath — the ship's crew horribly slaughtered and infected by alien scourge.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution
One of my fav games. Loved it when I played it and can probably play it again.

You play Adam Jensen, an ex-SWAT specialist who's been handpicked to oversee the defensive needs of one of America's most experimental biotechnology firms. Your job is to safeguard company secrets, but when a black ops team breaks in and kills the very scientists you were hired to protect, everything you thought you knew about your job...

Diablo 3

Who doesnt love Diablo? Too many hours spent on this game, grinding gold and gear. But s much fun, especially when you play with friends.

Diablo III picks up the story twenty years after the events of Diablo II. Mephisto, Diablo, and Baal have been defeated, but the Worldstone, which once shielded the inhabitants of the world of Sanctuary from the forces of both Heaven and Hell, has been destroyed, and evil once again stirs in Tristram. Playing as a hero from one of five distinct character classes, players will acquire powerful items, spells, and abilities as they explore new and familiar areas of Sanctuary and battle hordes of demons to safeguard the world from the horrors that have arisen.

Dishonored

Best game this year! Completely loved it. Could deff play it again. It is amazing.

Dishonored places players in the role an infamous assassin who was the once-trusted bodyguard of the beloved Empress until he was framed for murder. Using supernatural powers and deadly weapons, you must sneak, shoot, and stab your way through a dystopian city in order to depose a cruel tyrant.

Dota 2

The game I have spent the most hours on since the realease probably. I play it with my friends in a 5vs5 tower defence style game. A lot of fun and a lot of rage! ;)

Dota is a competitive game of action and strategy, played both professionally and casually by millions of passionate fans worldwide. Players pick from a pool of over a hundred heroes, forming two teams of five players.

Dragon Age: Origins

Started playing and like it! But didn't finish and wont for a while. Not my fav but still nice and good.

From the maker of Mass Effect and Baldur’s Gate comes the dark fantasy epic Dragon Age: Origins. You are a Grey Warden, one of the last of a legendary order of guardians. With the return of an ancient foe and the kingdom engulfed in civil war, you have been chosen by fate to unite the shattered lands and slay the archdemon once and for...

With a powerful combination of freeform gameplay and unprecedented graphics, you can unravel the main quest at your own pace or explore the vast world and find your own challenges.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
EPIC GAME. My fav game of all times (so far). It's addictive but so so amazing. LOVE it.

Another favourite. Completed it and loved every moment of it.

Create a character of your choosing and descend into an awe-inspiring, post-apocalyptic world where every minute is a fight for survival

Fallout: New Vegas

Still not done with it, but I love it as much as Fallout 3. Exploring, shooting and 40s music mixed in one..

Welcome to Vegas. New Vegas. It’s the kind of town where you dig your own grave prior to being shot in the head and left for dead…and that’s before things really get ugly. It’s a town of dreamers and desperados being torn apart by warring factions vying for complete control of this desert oasis.

Grand Theft Auto

The original GTA.

Grand Theft Auto 2

Grand Theft Auto III

Grand Theft Auto IV

Play a russian criminal and create chaos. LOL! A lot of fun, but im only 90% done!

What does the American dream mean today? For Niko Bellic fresh off the boat from Europe, it is the hope he can escape from his past. For his cousin, Roman, it is the vision that together they can find fortune in Liberty City, gateway to the land of opportunity.

Grand Theft Auto V
Latest GTA that I just only started. AMAZING graphics. Here back in Los Santos.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
The first GTA I played on my PS2. Loved it then, love it now.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Guild Wars 2

I played this for a while and levled up with some friends. It is fun and well made. But I am kinda tired of MMORPGs after 5 years of WoW.

Guild Wars 2 draws from the game mechanics that made the original Guild Wars one of the most popular online games and adds a fully persistent world. Like its predecessors, Guild Wars 2 does not have a subscription fee. Guild Wars Eye of the North provide a Hall of Monuments where players' accomplishments are memorialized and eventually inherited by their Guild Wars 2 characters, unlocking exclusive items and bonuses in Guild Wars 2.

Half-Life 2
I really like this game. Its like..15 years old, but it is still great fun to play even today! That says a lot.

1998. HALF-LIFE sends a shock through the game industry with its combination of pounding action and continuous, immersive storytelling. Valve's debut title wins more than 50 game-of-the-year awards on its way to being named "Best PC Game Ever" by PC Gamer, and launches a franchise with more than eight million retail units sold worldwide.

Hitman: Absolution
 Never played it.

Get ready to pull the trigger on a completely new chapter in the award-winning Hitman series. Be the ultimate assassin in the Hitman Sniper Challenge by testing your reactions, focus and skill in a stand-alone hit available only for Hitman Absolution pre-purchases.

Hotel Giant 2
Played it for 2 min. Boring.

Just Cause 2

Dive into an adrenaline-fuelled free-roaming adventure. As agent Rico Rodriguez, your orders are to find and kill your friend and mentor who has disappeared on the island paradise of Panau. There, you must cause maximum chaos by land, sea and air to shift the balance of power.

Left 4 Dead 2
I haaate zombies. Hate. Still I enjoy this game, but I get so scare dand uncomfortable that I cant play it for long... urgh.

Set in the zombie apocalypse, Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2) is the highly anticipated sequel to the award-winning Left 4 Dead, the #1 co-op game of 2008. This co-operative action horror FPS takes you and your friends through the cities, swamps and cemeteries of the Deep South, from Savannah to New Orleans across five expansive campaigns.

LIMBO
Dark and depressing puzzle game. It is fun and well made, but I get bored. Too little action for me. Fabi loves it though.

Uncertain of his sister's fate, a boy enters LIMBO...

Lord of the Rings Online
I actually like this MMORPG, but mainly cause I love LotR. You can visit all the places you read about or saw in the movies, which is great! You even meet Gandalf. But it sucks that it is pay 2 play. It is "free", but to do a lot of things you have to pay A LOT...

Medal of Honor
Did not play yet. Got it in a bundle. Will play it when I'm done with my current games.

The new Medal of Honor is inspired by and has been developed with Tier 1 Operators from this elite community. Players will step into the boots of these warriors and apply their unique skill sets to a new enemy in the most unforgiving and hostile battlefield conditions of present day Afghanistan.

Neverwinter
Played it for some weeks with friends when the beta came out. Fun, but yet anothher MMORPG that we don't get stuck to.

Osu!
One of my fav games! Requires skill and speed! A lot of fun and a lot of japanese and korean players. I'm not the best, but I am good. :)

Plants vs. Zombies
Fun and epic game. I you havent tried i, do.

An all-new action-strategy game from PopCap, makers of Bejeweled and Peggle! Zombies are invading your home, and the only defense is your arsenal of plants! Armed with an alien nursery-worth of zombie-zapping plants like peashooters and cherry bombs, you'll need to think fast and plant faster to stop dozens of types of zombies.

Portal 2
Awesome game! Think with portals. It is a puzzle game where you have to make your way through "test-chambers" and it just gets harder and harder. A lot of fun and brainwork, but also a great story.

Portal 2 draws from the award-winning formula of innovative gameplay, story, and music that earned the original Portal over 70 industry accolades and created a cult following. The single-player portion of Portal 2 introduces a cast of dynamic new characters, a host of fresh puzzle elements, and a much larger set of devious test chambers.

Populous
Old game (1989!) that I did not try yet.

Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad
Increadibly hard game, but probably the best and most realistic FPS out there. It requires real skill, but is also why it is fun. Also one of few games set in WWII where you can play on the greman or russian side. It is usually the american side only, and on the west front. This is on the east.

Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad, the leading tactical multiplayer WWII shooter on the PC, will take the award winning Red Orchestra franchise into the next generation of gaming. Cutting edge graphics and audio built using the Unreal Engine 3, inventive features and streamlined realism will deliver an unrivalled tactical shooter...

Rising Storm
Did not play yet.

Rising Storm is the next game in the award-winning Red Orchestra franchise. You know the great gameplay, innovative features and realistic audio and graphics of RO2 - Rising Storm will take this to the Pacific Theater, adding even more features, new levels, new weapons and new factions.

Saints Row: The Third
Completed the game. Loved it. A looot of fun and extremely insane. You have every crazy thing you could ever imagine in this game. Everything and anything! (including dildo weapons, zombies, pimps and aliens)...

Years after taking Stilwater for their own, the Third Street Saints have evolved from street gang to household brand name, with Saints sneakers, Saints energy drinks and Johnny Gat bobble head dolls all available at a store near you. The Saints are kings of Stilwater, but their celebrity status has not gone unnoticed.

Secret of the magic crystals

A game for kids. I got it for lols. If I ever have any kids visiting I'll let them play this...

In this game you manage a horse-breeding farm set in a fantasy surrounding. The game enables you to breed legendary horses such as Pegasus, Unicorn, Fire-steed, Ice-steed and Demon-steed. You can buy over 700 objects during the game. Make all kinds of horseshoes as well as lots of magical potions for your horses.

Sid Meier's Civilization V
Great strategy game. Played it for many hours and like it. You can conquesr the world and follow it through its development.

The Flagship Turn-Based Strategy Game Returns Become Ruler of the World by establishing and leading a civilization from the dawn of man into the space age: Wage war, conduct diplomacy, discover new technologies, go head-to-head with some of history’s greatest leaders and build the most powerful empire the world has ever known.

SimCity 4 Deluxe
I have played this a game a lot ove rthe years. It's Sim City, it's legendary.

Create, grow, and breathe life into your ideal urban environment. Fight disasters both realistic and fantastic. Govern your own virtual metropolis as you see fit with SimCity 4. In SimCity 4, you don't just build your city, you breathe life into it.

SimCity 5
Latest version where you can play with your friends and cooperate. A lot of fun, but not quite as good as the 4.

Control a region that delivers true multi-city scale and play a single city or up to sixteen cities at once each with different specializations. Multiplayer adds a new facet to your game as your decisions will have an effect both your city and your region and creates new ways to play by collaborating or competing to earn achievements.

The Sims 3 + expansions
I have played the Sims since the first game came out. This is just as good, but full of buggs (still!)... What I love the most is the design and build houses. I have made whole cities just full of modern villas, and then made people that fit into them. It is a lot of fun.

Create lifelike Sims with a unique personality and take them anywhere in the neighborhood. The powerful Create-a-Sim tool allows you to create Sims that are more realistic than ever. Select from dozens of personality traits such as brave, artistic, kleptomaniac, clumsy, paranoid and romantic. With Create-a-Sim, you can create a limitless number of truly unique Sims. The Sims 3 allows for infinite possibilities to design the interior and exterior of your Sims’ surroundings using the Create-a-style feature.

Sleeping Dogs
I have not completed it yet since I play it on PC with an XBOX controller that is being used by F atm. But I LOVE the game. It is set in Hong Kong, not that common. And it has a lot of fun elements. I just find this game too hard to play with mouse and keyboard for some reason. Especially with all kung fu moves, it ie easier to remeber controller combos than keyboard ones..

Welcome to Hong Kong, a vibrant neon city teeming with life, whose exotic locations and busy streets hide one of the most powerful and dangerous criminal organizations in the world: the Triads. In this open world game, you play the role of Wei Shen, an undercover cop trying to take down the Triads from the inside out.

Sniper Elite
Played a bit. The game itself is not the most realistic and did not get high scores, but I love to snipe and usually sit and yell "BOOOM headshot!" so for me it's a hit.

As World War II draws to a close, the first covert battles of the Cold War begin. Caught in the life and death struggle between Soviets and Germans in war-torn Berlin, you control the fate of a lone American OSS Sniper.

Space Pirates and Zombies
Played for 30 min and didn't like it..

At its core, Space Pirates and Zombies is an action based, skill oriented, top down space combat game. It’s similar to the ones we knew and loved in years past, but now using full physics simulation and modern graphics for those oh so pretty explosions. But as you dig deeper, SPAZ becomes much more.

Starcraft 2
Played the campaigns and like it a lot, but can't say I played pvp a lot since I'm not that good with it yet!

StarCraft II continues the epic saga of the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg. These three distinct and powerful races clash once again in the fast-paced real-time strategy sequel to the legendary original, StarCraft. Legions of veteran, upgraded, and brand-new unit types do battle across the galaxy, as each faction struggles for survival. Featuring a unique single-player campaign that picks up where StarCraft: Brood War left off, StarCraft II presents a cast of new heroes and familiar faces in an edgy sci-fi story filled with adventure and intrigue. In addition, Blizzard again offers unparalleled online play through Battle.net, the company's world-renowned gaming service, with several enhancements and new features to make StarCraft II the ultimate competitive real-time strategy game. Full map-making and scripting tools to give players incredible freedom in customizing and personalizing their gameplay experience.

Star Wars: The Old Republic
Another MMORPG, set int he Star Wars universe. It is a lot of fun, but more people I know stopped playing, and threfore it is less fun when yu reach max level!

In Star Wars: The Old Republic, players explore an age thousands of years before the rise of Darth Vader when war between the Old Republic and the Sith Empire divides the galaxy. Players can choose to play as Jedi, Sith, or a variety of other classic Star Wars roles, defining their personal story and determining their path down the light or dark side of the Force. Along the way, players befriend courageous companions who fight at their side or possibly betray them, based on the players’ actions. Players can also choose to team up with friends to battle enemies and overcome incredible challenges using dynamic Star Wars combat.

Torchlight
Much like Diablo. It is fun, but I prefer playing Diablo really.

Behold Torchlight, a fresh new Action RPG franchise developed by Runic Games. Torchlight is being developed in Seattle by a veteran team composed of the designers and leads of projects like Diablo, Diablo II, Mythos, and Fate. Our team has spent many years honing and evolving this unique style of gameplay.

Tropico 4
A lot of fun! I played it a lot so far. It is kinda like SimCity, but mixed with cold war politics. You are a corrupt politician ruling over an island much like Kuba.

The world is changing and Tropico is moving with the times - geographical powers rise and fall and the world market is dominated by new players with new demands and offers - and you, as El Presidente, face a whole new set of challenges.

The Walking Dead
Only just started it, but it is amazing. It is following a storyline divided in chapters and is played in a point and click kind of way.

Based on Robert Kirkman's comic book series, The Walking Dead brings to life a world devastated by an undead apocalypse and the horrifying choices you're forced to make to survive. Play the role of Lee Everett, a convicted criminal, who has been given a second chance at life in a world devastated by the undead. With corpses returning to life and survivors stopping at nothing to maintain their own safety, protecting an orphaned girl named Clementine may offer you redemption in a world gone to hell.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
Started playing it but it just lags like crazy and is made for console, not Pc...

The player is Geralt of Rivia, a professional monster slayer, a witcher. Entangled in the political turmoil that engulfed Temeria, Geralt helped quell the rebellion of the Order of the Flaming Rose. Soon after, he saved King Foltest’s life when the monarch was attacked by a witcher-like assassin.

World of Warcraft
Played it for 5 years straight.. It is WoW. A lot of fun and made a lot of friends.

Four years have passed since the aftermath of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, and a great tension now smolders throughout the ravaged world of Azeroth. As the battle-worn races begin to rebuild their shattered kingdoms, new threats, both ancient and ominous, arise to plague the world once again. World of Warcraft is an online role-playing experience set in the award-winning Warcraft universe. Players assume the roles of Warcraft heroes as they explore, adventure, and quest across a vast world. Being "Massively Multiplayer," World of Warcraft allows thousands of players to interact within the same world. Whether adventuring together or fighting against each other in epic battles, players will form friendships, forge alliances, and compete with enemies for power and glory. A dedicated live team will create a constant stream of new adventures to undertake, lands to explore, and monsters to vanquish. This content ensures that the game will never be the same from month to month, and will continue to offer new challenges and adventures for years to come.
